About Nancy

Nancy C. Anderson is an award-winning writer who is the author of Avoiding the Greener Grass Syndrome and a contributing writer to thirty other books, including six Chicken Soup for the Soul titles. Nancy has been featured in national media such as The Huffington Post, The 700 Club, WORLD Magazine, Our Daily Bread and FamilyLife Today. She lives in Orange County, California with her husband of 40 years and their son, Nick.

Ron and Nancy were married in 1978 at Biola University in La Mirada, California while they were both attending college. Their marriage got off to a rocky start and went downhill guickly. They were both expecting the other person to make them happy. When that didn't happen, Nancy went in search of "Greener Grass" and almost ended her marriage. But with God's help and a lot of hard work, they reconciled and went on to build a marriage ministry that has encouraged thousands of couples.

They love to speak at seminars and retreats to encourage and equip couples to grow HEDGES around their hearts. The Andersons have been featured in national media such as Montel Williams, The 700 Club, FamilyLife Today, and The Huffington Post.

Ron, Nancy, and Nick Anderson are a happy little family (though Nick is NOT little at 6'4") that live in Orange County, California. They enjoy playing the card game 500 Rummy and going to many Disney events. They have traveled the USA in planes, trains, autos, cruise ships and motor homes and love to explore small towns looking for mom and pop diners to find home cooked meals and real ice cream. Nick and Ron share a love of magic (card and coin tricks) and are members of the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, California.
