My word for 2026: Savor. What’s your word?

I have a confession: I’ve been guilty of rushing through meals, meetings, and conversations that may have been extraordinary-if I’d been focused, patient, and connected.
So I commit to savoring these experiences in 2026.

Savor is not passive. It’s intentional.
It’s choosing depth over speed, presence over productivity, meaning over momentum.

It’s like putting a magnifying glass over all the good things that are already there. Paying attention to the surrounding scents, sounds, textures and emotions and drinking them in.

Savor isn’t just about slowing down life — it’s about letting myself actually experience the gifts in my life: the love, the friends, the flavors, the beauty, the tears, the laughter, and all the tiny blessings hiding in plain sight. I’m going to SAVOR this year.

If you haven’t chosen a word to frame 2026, think about a word that describes the growth, change, or hope you’d like for your future.

A good man and a delicious meal- savoring it all!
